Based in Los Angeles, GlowSkin is a sunscreen brand created by women for women. Their mission is to help women feel good in their skin. The focus is on protecting natural beauty, aiming to prevent skin damage instead of just covering it up. GlowSkin offers a proactive solution for keeping skin youthful and healthy.

Differentiation

In collaboration with GlowSkin, we created a brand identity that reflects their belief in natural beauty and the choice to go without makeup. By focusing on the protective benefits of sunscreen, we positioned GlowSkin as a brand that boosts confidence and celebrates the skin's natural glow. Our strategy shows how they empower women to feel beautiful and strong in their own skin.

The color palette was chosen to reflect GlowSkin’s message of natural beauty and feminine strength. It features soft, warm tones that remind us of the sun and skin-friendly hues. These shades express elegance, natural beauty, and trust, supporting GlowSkin’s mission.

For the logo, the idea was to show beauty in simplicity. The design needed to feel delicate yet bold, capturing the strength and grace of the women GlowSkin empowers. The logo is minimalistic, allowing the brand to express purity and natural care. The supporting icon represents the protection GlowSkin offers, gently enhancing the main identity without overpowering it.

GlowSkin needed fonts that felt bold, delicate and modern. The "Unbounded" family was chosen for the logo because of its clean, confident lines. Together, these fonts create a nice balance between boldness and femininity, ensuring readability while keeping the brand’s simple elegance across all mediums.

The assets for GlowSkin are designed to match the brand's delicate yet bold identity. They are minimalistic and organic, featuring soft curves and natural shapes inspired by the sun and skin textures. Each asset supports GlowSkin’s mission of preserving natural beauty and visually reinforces the brand’s values of empowerment and protection without overwhelming the overall identity.
